THE OS CARD (1973) SAYS THE ONLY EARTHWORKS VISIBLE ON DENHAM HILL ARE THOSE OF A MINOR MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT (B2). HOWEVER, LIPSCOMB (1847) REFERRED TO 'FAINT LINES OF ENTRENCHMENTS OR MILITARY EARTHWORKS' (B1).
