Description

Grade II. Barn. Dated 1753. Rubblestone with old tile roof. 3 bays with central cart entry. Narrow ventilation slits. North cart entry blocked in brick. East gable has pitch hole, now blocked, triangular vent in apex of west gable. Datestone in east gable 'E.T.1753'. Interior: Double purlin roof with tall queenstruts to upper purlin's collar and raking queen posts to lower purlins. Butt purlins. At left rubblestone outbuilding with old tile roof of 2 bays, the left bay much repaired in brick, 2 doors (B7).
