Description

Dimensions - Length 0160 cm Height 0050 Width 0120.
Grade II. Base of cross, perhaps C15, large rectangular section of brown sandstone with large cavity on top, possibly to house the cross shaft. RCHM I p.290. MON.2 (part)(B7).



A churchyard Cross (SP 78411222), of which only the rectangular stone base remains. There is a large cavity on top for the shaft. Possibly 15th century (B7).
The base of a Md cross is situated on the S side of Stone Church at SP 78411223, but it does not appear to be in situ. The base measures 1.6 x 1.2m and is 0.5m high. Surveyed at 1:2500. See GP (B11).
