Description

In the course of construction of the Eton Rowing lake, this site will be lost under the return lake of the rowing course. As a consequence, Oxford Archaeology undertook an area excavation calling the area 'Site 16'. An arc of gully surrounding a group of postholes on the S surounded by other Iron Age pits have been interpreted as a hut circle (B10).
