Description

Oxford Archaeology reported the finding of two planks about 3m long, fastened edge to edge to three cross-pieces by iron nails. Rectangular notches were cut adjacent to each of the cross pieces indicating a box like structure. Two sherds of Roman pottery were also found (1).
