Up to four lines of Bronze Age upright 'fence' posts were noted following the northern edge of the Thames channel excavated in advance of Eton Rowing Course

Description

Oxford Archaeology noted a sequence of seven successive phases of the Thames Channel with the river migrating northwards over time. This corresponds with up to four fence lines of upright timber noted along the northern channel. These may be associated with the enclosure to the NE (1).
