Description

Excavations carried out by Oxford Archaeological Unit in 1996 in advance of construction of the Eton Rowing Lake, revealed 2 crouched inhumations outside the larger of the two northern ring ditches in 'Area 6'. 1 burial was approx 2m to the SE, the other was approx 10m to the W. Neither burial had any associated finds (B12).
