In advance of tree thinning, a survey was undertaken to identify archaeological features which might be impacted by machine movement. The survey noted a second enclosure, larger than the scheduled enclosure to the north. The banks were up to 1m high and nearly 4m across. The enclosure may have a bank and ditch running beyond the main track through the wood (survey ref no: 16) (B1).
