Description

The English Heritage Survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 note two banks running intermitantly for 300m, 1-1.5m high and 0.6m wide. Two mounds lie at SP67733663 - the northern is 8m x 2.5m x 0.7m high and the southern 12m x 4m x 1.2m high. The two routes of the Queen's Drive are shown as coverging here on the 1843 estate. By 1880, the southern route is no longer shown on OS maps (1).
