DURING TOPSOIL STRIPPING & EXCAVATION OF UNDERLYING STONE, METAL DETECTING ETC BY T CLARK FINDS SEVERAL RB SHERDS INCLUDING SAMIAN & COLOUR COAT, 2 HANDMADE SAXON SHERDS, C11-12 RIMS/SHERDS & A BRILL GLAZED BASE; ALSO 6 COINS. ENGRAVED IRON KNIFE HANDLE, C16-C17; 5 CU ALLOY OBJECTS; LEAD SPINDLE WHORL; LEAD PLATE/WEIGHT, DECORATED?; CU ALLOY MOUNT WITH 4 LOBES, LEATHER FITTING MEDIEVAL?; CU ALLOY DRAWER PULL (SEE LIST FILED) (B7) Areas 1-3 on filed map.
