Description

The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes a linear bank running from SP66903715 to SP67673824. The bank is 1m wide and 0.4m highand trees are planted on it or very close to it. It is most likely to be associated with the 18th and 19th century tree planting, although it is also interpreted as a possible headland along its length (1).
