Description

The English Heritage survey of Stowe undertaken in 2001 notes numerous small circular hollows on each side of the track leading from Dadford to Home Farm. These are the remains of trees planted between 1843 and 1880. Similar hollows lie to the N of the track and represent trees planted between 1814 and 1843 (1).
