Description

Substantial stone footings, 5m in length, and piece of stone tile were found on the N edge of Octogon lake. A mill is known to have been in the vicinity, also Thomas Stops house which was pulled down in 1718 according to the estate's accounts to make way for a great avenue of trees (B1).
