Description

The Victoria County History notes that the sails of the old windmill were blown down in 1895 (B6,B20).
In 1932, Smith describes the windmill as being made of circular brick with ogee cap, but that it has no sails and is derelict (B7).
In 1969, the complex was described as containing the remains of the empty shell of a tower mill (B8).
The windmill is described as derelict again in 1976 (B9).
A site visit in 1977 revealed that the water and windmills have been coverted to houses (B11).
