Description

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting surveys carried out in November 1999 by Network Archaeology identified a significant concentration of late 2nd to late 4th century Romano-British material in the northwest corner of the survey area, coinciding with geophysical anomalies of probable field boundaries and possible settlement remains.
