Description
Fieldwalking and metal-detecting surveys carried out in November 1999 by Network Archaeology identified a significant concentration of late 2nd to late 4th century Romano-British material in the northwest corner of the survey area, coinciding with geophysical anomalies of probable field boundaries and possible settlement remains. See report for detailed analysis and finds of other periods (B3). NGR to centre of finds concentration.
