Description
Remains of pits and at least 4 circular post-built structures, possibly small roundhouses, were identified during excavations carried out by Thames Valley Archaeological Service from November 1994-January 1995. Associated pottery and flintwork indicated a date from the Middle Bronze Age to the Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age. The circular structures ranged in size from 5.3m diameter to 8.8m diameter, and none appeared to have central postholes, porches or eaves-drip gullies (B1).
