Description

BROOCH FOUND BY MR READE'S (VICAR) GARDENER, 1840. SITE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN INCLUDED WITHIN LIMITS OF ROMANO-BRITISH & ANGLO-SAXON CEMETERY. CLOTH ADHERING TO BROOCH INDICATES BURIED WITH CORPSE (B3).
SITE DOUBTLESS PART OF ANGLO-SAXON CEMETERY (B8).
