Description

Iron Age features, pit complex, post holes, probable round house, sub-rectangular enclosure which straddles the Lower Icknield Way (possible stock enclosure - devoid of features on interior) lower fills Middle IA. Difficulty in distinguishing IA pottery from Saxon because of similarity of fabrics (B6).
