Description

HAT Phase 2 excavation at site of former Nurses Home, Stone. Late Bronze Age pits, post holes and single ?urned cremation. Majority of LBA features located within the northern half of the excavated area, but generally dispersed. Iron Age features not coincident with LBA features, being located within the southern half of the excavated area. Iron Age features; ditch and pits. IA finds sparse. (B4).
