Description

16th century house with formal gardens, parkland and a pond. First mentioned by Sheahan in 1862, he refers to it as Wendover Dean House though. Since the first edition 6" OS map two further buildings have been added as well as The Old Lodge. Recent APs show that the parkland is now mostly fields and the gardens are all but gone. Only tennis court and lawn. Major change though is that there is now a railway line running through the west of the property (B4).
