Apparently metalling is detectable and Tom reports the farmer as saying that it is visible as a parchmark crossing his lawn during drought. Labelled R3 on map (B11). SOILMARK OF A POSSIBLE ROAD OR TRACKWAY PHOTOGRAPHED BY TOM CLARK AND REPORTED TO BCM (B13).
