Description
BRONZE SWORD CHAPE?, BRONZE OVAL BROOCH WITH SETTINGS FOR RECTANGULAR STONES (SOME GLASS? SURVIVING) AND AN EDWARD IV GROAT FOUND NEAR THE NW CORNER OF THE MOAT, IN THE ADJACENT FIELD. THOUGHT TO HAVE COME FROM THE RECENT DREDGING OF THE MOAT (B8).
Bronze sword chape now identified as top of C14 stirrup. Further finds small bronze figurine in Elizabethan-style costume and medieval jar rim (B10).
