TRANSCRIPTS OF THE PIPE ROLLS OF THE BISHOPRIC OF WINCHESTER 1301-1302 REFERS TO A WINDMILL AND ITS SAILS ETC IN THIS AREA. THERE IS NO EVIDENCE TO CONNECT IT DEFINITELY WITH CASS 1270 (B11).
