Description
Dimensions - Width 530mm, Length 2000mm, Height 400mm.
Late medieval stone effigy discovered beneath floorboards of N aisle during restoration work. Effigy of recumbent male cleric with feet resting on lion & traces of 2 weepers either side of head. Likely to be of Elias de Tingwick or John de Chastillon. Traces of pigments present. Corbel also found (B11-B14).
