1 OF 2 AREAS OF SURVIVING FLOATING WATER MEADOW EARTHWORKS AT CHENIES BOTTOM, SURVEYED BY BCM. ONLY SURVIVING VISIBLE REMAINS ARE DRAWING FURROWS. WATER MEADOW SURVEYED BY ST J PRIEST IN 1812, SUBSEQUENTLY EXTENDED TO WEST WHERE FURROWS ARE LESS WIDELY SPACED (CF CASS 04329:03)(B1-2).
