Description

1 OF 2 AREAS OF SURVIVING FLOATING WATER MEADOW EARTHWORKS AT CHENIES BOTTOM, SURVEYED BY BCM. SURVIVING REMAINS INCLUDE A SLUICE, HEADER CHANNEL, STEM, DRAWING FURROWS, OUTLET DRAIN & OVERFLOW CHANNEL. PROBABLY MID-LATE C19, CF CAS 6253. SHALLOW CHANNELS , DRAIN & PALAEOCHANNEL SURVIVE TO W OF MAIN COMPLEX (B2).
