OCTOBER 1995 DAVID BONNER (BCM) CARRIED OUT WATCHING BRIEF IN OCTOBER 1995 DURING STRIPPING OF AREA OF 350 SQ.M, TO THE EAST OF BOURTON GROUNDS COTTAGES. AREA STRIPPED TO MAX DEPTH OF 250MM FOR NEW DRIVE & CAR-PARKING AREA. 2 FEATURES OBSERVED: SHALLOW MODERN DISTURBANCE & FORMER FIELD DITCH. 1 OXIDIZED FI NE, SANDY R-B SHERD FOUND BUT NOT RETAINED (B4).
