Description

M WELLS OBSERVED LAYER OF TIGHTLY-PACKED POTTERY AND TILE, DURING WORKS PRIOR TO LAYING PAVING STONES. AN AREA C.0.70 X 0.70M HAD BEEN EXCAV DOWN TO CLAY. POTTERY RECOVERED INCLUDES WASTERS & OVER-FIRED TILE; BITS OF COSTREL, CUPS & JUG HANDLES OF POSS TUDOR DATE (B5,B7).
