Description

ARCHAEOLOGICAL EVALUATION IN ADVANCE OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT ADJACENT TO 1964-66 EXCAVATIONS (CAS 0312), FOUND FURTHER REMAINS OF THE EARLY MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT OF BEGRAVE. A FLINT COBBLED FLOOR AND FOUR DITCHES OF MEDIEVAL DATE, AND TWO ROMANO-BRITISH DITCHES WERE IDENTIFIED (B1).
