Description

3 TRIAL TRENCHES DUG IN ADVANCE OF STRUCTURAL REPAIRS LOCATED A THICK DEPOSIT OF POST-MEDIEVAL TILE INCLUDING SOME STAMPED 'LIGHTMOOR, BROSELEY'; ALSO SOME OOLITIC LIMESTONE BLOCKS, MANY FINELY DRESSED OR ROUGHLY TOOLED. 15 WERE SHAPED & DISPLAYED MOULDINGS. PROBABLY FROM ABBEY (SEE REPORT) (B21).
