COMB FOUND IN PIT, PROBABLY DISTURBED CREMATION. SINGLE TYPE, NARROW PIECES OF BONE HELD IN PLACE BETWEEN FLAT PLATES BY IRON RIVETS. BACK OF COMB IS CONVEX, TERMINATING IN TRIANGULAR EXTENSIONS, 1 PERFORATED. DECORATED BOTH SIDES WITH FRET-PATTERN (ILLUS)(B1). LETTERS RE RUNE-LIKE DECORATION (B6).
