OVAL PIT, 6.7M N OF CENTRAL DATUM, JUST INSIDE NE QUADRANT. URN PLACED AGAINST N WALL OF PIT IN UPRIGHT POSITION; CONTAINED BURNT BONES TOO FRAGMENTARY FOR IDENTIFICATION & A COMB. LAYER OF CHALKY SOIL 13MM DEEP SEPARATED BASE OF URN FROM CHALK FLOOR OF PIT (B1).
