Description

ACCORDING TO MSS OF BROWNE-WILLIS A GIANT-LIKE MAN WAS FOUND NEAR BOTTOM OF CASTLE HILL MOUNT. APPARENTLY IN PERFECT SHAPE WHEN FOUND BUT MOULDERED INTO DUST ON TOUCHING, LEAVING ONLY BONES (B1).
SOME OF OLDER FINDS SUCH AS GIANT SKELETON MAY BE ASSOC WITH SAXON BURIAL (CASS 00488) RATHER THAN CASTLE (B11).
