1 HIDE AT EVERSHAW MENTIONED AT DOMESDAY (1086). A PORTION OF THIS ESTATE WAS GRANTED TO BIDDLESDEN ABBEY; A MILL IS RECORDED ON THIS LAND IN C13. AT THE DISSOLUTION THIS LAND WAS MERGED IN THE MANOR OF BIDDLESDEN; IN 1540 THE BIDDLESDEN ESTATE COMPRISED EVERSHAW PARK (MANORIAL HISTORY)(B4).
