Description

Grade II. Lodge and gates originally to Britwell House. Late C19. Lodge red brick and half-timber with plain tile roof. Panelled ridge stack. North gable end to drive with canted bay window with stone mullions and leaded lights, under over-sailing upper floor. 2 casements, decorative timbering. Timbered porch to side. Similar but less elaborate south gable. Small projection on east side with half-timbered gable. Gates: 4 stone piers with pyramid caps, iron gates between. Curved brick screen wall to each side with shorter end piers (B1).
