Description

Grade II. Mid C19 lodge. Red brick with stone dressings; machine tile roof with toothed ridge tiles. T-plan. Two storeys with one storey possibly a later addition at rear. All windows have square-paned leaded lights. Long arm of 'T' gable ended with stone finials on corners and apex. First floor with one 3-light casement with moulded stone drip course. Ground floor with segmental bay window with top moulding continued as stringcourse around building. Paired chimneys centrally on roof. Short arm of 'T' gable ended with stone finials on corners and stone pepper pot on apex. Three-light casement with stone panel containing arms of Christie Miller family over. Ground floor with, in left hand angle of 'T', one-storey porch whose semicircular arch is filled with cast iron gate, scroll work and coat of arms. In right hand section of long arm, one one-light casement. A lodge to Britwell House (B1).
