Description

Grade II. Barn. C17 or early C18. Timber framed on stone plinth, C20 weatherboarding, clay tiled roof,carried down over outshot on south side. C20 garage doors and windows. Interior 4 bays; heavy jowled posts, curved braces to tiebeams, curved struts to lower purlins, queenposts and collar to upper purlins, curved windbraces. Wall framing with heavy sole plates. Later outshot on S. side. One post has carved dates recording children's heights, the earliest 1762 (B1).
