Description

Grade II. House. C17 and C18 altered. Red and blue vitreous brick, old tiled roof, central chimney with oversailing courses, 2 gabled dormers, moulded brick eaves cornice, 2-storeys and attic, first floor band course to front elevation, broken in centre. 2 bays of C20 3-light leaded casements, central oriel, probably replacing door, with 2-light casement above. Rear wing timber framed with brick infill, C20 enclosed porch and leaded casements, large square oriel to RH gable end with tiled roof. Interior Rear wing has exposed trusses with heavy posts, tiebeams, curved braces and windbraces. Heavy 1st floor beams mostly inserted C20 but some original timbers remain (B1).
