THIN DISC, PLAIN ON 1 SIDE, WITH GEOMETRIC DESIGN IN FILIGREE BUILT UP FROM V-SCROLLS, TRIANGLES & ANNULETS, ALL WITHIN BEADED BORDER ON THE OTHER SIDE. KENTISH ORIGIN: C.600 AD (B2). DESCRIBED AS GOLD BRACTEATE. BOUGHT FOR BM FOR £133 (EX-LORD GRANTLEY'S COLLECTION)(B11).
