Description

Grade II. Garden terrace and features. 1929-38, by W Curtis Green for F M Kroyer-Kielberg. Limestone, brick and timber. Stone-paved terrace walk has series of 3 pergolas with curved wood superstructure on square brick piers with moulded stone caps. Low, dry stone retaining walls to terrace walk and terrace gardens which are linked by stone steps. Rectangular formal pool has paved surround and low round-arched niche to head with fountain-head (B1).
