Description

Grade II. House. Dated 1678, altered. Coursed rubblestone. North gable timber-framed with brick and stone infill. Old tile roof. 2 bays and 2 storeys, probably reconstruction of earlier wing to No.17 Church End [CASS 10347]. Hipped, tiled door hood in angle with No.17. Modern 2-light casement to left. Moulded brick to plinth. Upper floor with left-hand modern 2-light casement, single light above door. Datestone 'EPA 1678' between 1st floor windows. C17 thin brick stack to left gable with 2 staggered square flues and oversailing courses. Inside is chamfered and stopped spine beam. RCHM I. 180. MON.5 (B1).
