RONDEL DAGGER FIRST DEVELOPED IN 2ND QUARTER OF C14, REMAINING IN USE TILL EARLY C16. ASKETT ONE HAS GUARD FORMED BY SOLID DISK. BLADE HAS A SINGLE EDGE & IS HOLLOW GROUND WITH A RIDGED BACK. BLADE LENGTH 17.5IN; OVERALL LENGTH OF DAGGER 21.5IN. (DRAWING). FROM EXCAVATIONS (B4). NGR (B6).
