Description

COINS RECOVERED FROM LAKE & FROM DREDGED MATERIAL. IN THIS GROUP WERE 237 COINS & 12 LEAD/LEAD ALLOY ITEMS. DR KING OF ASHMOLEAN MUSEUM, UNABLE TO IDENTIFY WITHOUT CLEANING BUT BELIEVES THEY ARE NOT A HOARD BUT A MISC COLLECTION OF C1-C4 & A FEW C18-C19 COINS, A C4 SILVER & POSSIBLE CELTIC POTIN (B1-2).
