Description

DIGGING FOOTINGS TRENCHES FOR NEW BUILDING ADJACENT WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH REVEALED BONE & POTTERY. GROUND HAD BEEN LEVELLED IN THE PAST, USING A BROWN SOIL. ONLY FEATURE RECORDED WAS A SMALL STAKE HOLE. BROWN SOIL COVERED A LEVEL HOUSE PLATFORM. A CIRCULAR FEATURE MAY HAVE BEEN A WELL (SEE NOTES)(B1).
