VISIT TO RIVERBANK AT NGR, TO CONFIRM EARLIER FINDS: CASS 02382, LOCATED BURNT FLINT CONCENTRATION IN SILTY CLAY DEPOSIT. CLUSTER WAS 70CM THICK. LATE IA SHERD IN CLAY, ALSO FIRED CLAY FRAG & BONE FROM SLUMPED MATERIAL NEARBY. VARIOUS FLINTS FOUND HERE & 5M UPSTREAM (FULL DETAILS, SECTION ETC FILED)(B1).
