WHOLE FIELD SYSTEMATICLY WALKED IN A 30M SQUARE GRID. FINDS PLOTTED SEPARATELY FOR EACH SQUARE (SITE CODE AFS 22.1) Finds 3 worked flints; 3 widely scattered Roman sherds; 3 sherds of Saxon pottery found in two adjacent squares of F7 & F8; 18 widely scattered medieval sherds; 95 widely scattered post-medieval sherds; also post-med scatter of brick, tile, glass, bone, shell, clay pipe, and iron (B1).
