SUBSTANTIAL DITCH DATABLE TO LATE IRON AGE. PRIMARY CUT WAS BROAD & FLAT-BASED & A RE-CUT ALSO IDENTIFIED. ONLY A SHORT SECTION EXCAVATED; PLANNED FOR 7M. DITCH CUT BY LATER DITCHES, PROB LATE SAXON. ALSO A LATE IRON AGE GULLY, EXCAVATED FOR 1.4M. (FURTHER DISCUSSION, SECTION DRAWING ETC). LATE IRON AGE SETTLEMENT FOCUS MAY BE NEARBY (B1).
