POSSIBLE SITE OF HUNDRED TREE (HUNDRYTHE TREOWE). TREE WOULD HAVE TENDED TO LOSE ITS SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE, AFTER GROUPING OF HUNDREDS, EXCEPT AS BOUNDARY MARK (B1-3).
