Description

A PIT OR POSSIBLY AN OCCUPATION HORIZON RECORDED A LITTLE ABOVE THE NATURAL CHALK & BELOW LAYER OF POST- MED DUMPING IN HOLE DUG FOR SEPTIC TANK. ACCESS WAS DIFFICULT & FEATURE THEREFORE COULD NOT BE PROPERLY SEEN (B1).

An occupation horizon and a pit containing Medieval pottery were found at SP 87150737 in Wendover during building work (B2).
