Description

Mr Hawkin's mill is pencilled on the estate map c1809 approximately at this NGR (1). The parish map marks 'Mill Hill' in pencil, at this approx NGR (2). The Tithe map tables of 1841 have 'Alfred Meacher, post windmill, etc' in West Field in the vicinity of this NGR? (3). Enclosure map 1856 has 'a mound & close (no mill) held by A Meacher (4).
